Airfield pavement rehabilitation works at brunei international airport - AGL Works
Brunei International Airport (BIA)’s rehabilitation of pavement project commenced in 2016 and completed in 2017. BIA is an operational airport and all works are carried after closure of the Runway, typically from 1.00 am till 7.00 am, before the first flight commence. AGL works has to coordinate closely with Civil Construction contractor and to complete AGL part of work during this short installation hours.
Besides the supply and installation of the AGL equipment, we also provided Temporary AGL works to facilitate civil resurfacing such as Cable diversion, temporary lighting and re-routing of primary and secondary cable. Elevated and Inset light were removed for resurfacing and reinstalled. More than 1500 new LED inset lights were installed complete with isolating transformers and transformer housing. The project involved airfield primary cable of about 200,000m. The Major scope of works includes:
